Job Summary
Strategic Planning & Growth
-
Develop and execute the overall business development strategy aligned with Ghazanfar Pay’s vision and regulatory framework.

Identify new market segments, customer acquisition channels, and revenue streams.
-
Lead market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments to inform strategic decisions.
Partnerships & Alliances
-
Establish and manage strategic partnerships with banks, telecom operators, merchants, fintechs, and government entities.
-
Negotiate and structure commercial agreements to maximize value and long-term collaboration.
-
Expand the merchant and agent network nationwide.
Product & Market Expansion
-
Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to design and launch innovative digital financial products (wallets, payments, remittances, etc.).
-
Drive adoption and usage of Ghazanfar Pay services across target customer segments.
-
Identify opportunities for cross-border and regional integrations.
Revenue Generation & Performance Management
-
Define revenue targets and ensure achievement through effective sales and partnership strategies.
-
Monitor KPIs including customer acquisition, transaction volumes, and revenue growth.
-
Prepare periodic performance reports for senior management and the Board.
Stakeholder Management
-
Build strong relationships with regulators, particularly Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB), and ensure alignment with EMI regulations.

Represent Ghazanfar Pay in industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
Team Leadership
-
Lead and develop the Business Development team, ensuring high performance and accountability.

Set clear objectives, KPIs, and professional development plans for team members.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
-
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in banking, fintech, or telecommunications.
-
Strong understanding of digital financial services, mobile money, and payment systems.
-
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building strategic partnerships.
