Job Summary

Job Description & Core Duties

·       Provide comprehensive high-quality obstetric and gynecological clinical services, emergency surgical interventions, and elective surgeries.

·       Manage complicated labor, high-risk pregnancies, pre-eclampsia, post-partum hemorrhages, and perform cesarean sections independently.

·       Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to midwives and nurses on the maternity and labor ward teams.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

·       Medical Doctor (MD) degree with an official specialization certificate in Obstetrics & Gynecology certified by MoPH.

·       Proven track record of managing complicated obstetric emergencies and surgical competence in major/minor OBGYN procedures.

·       Excellent communication and leadership skills with professional fluency in Pashto and Dari (English is highly desirable).

·       Strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered clinical care and adherence to hospital hygiene protocols.
